Change is long overdue in addiction recovery! Decades of the same addiction recovery programs where relapse seems to run rampant, and successful sobriety is uncommon, it is time for a complete re-evaluation of the fundamentals. In the real world, when something is broken and not working, you fix it, or suffer the consequences. The consequences in this case are all too often death! Making the right choice in Step 3 can be the difference between life or death!
The choice you make in step 3 can easily be the difference between life or death! It will absolutely determine your future sobriety and whether you relapse again or not. Tradition shows that step 3 is where either recovery or relapse begins or ends! Tradition also shows that millions fail at this point in their recovery. The reason is quite obvious, but difficult to see through the thick trees at the edge of the forest! The Step 3 Addiction Recovery program will show you how to find relapse free recovery!
OUR ADDICTION RECOVERY GROUP HOMES ARE PERFECTLY SUITED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF OUR CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEMS RE-ENTRY PROGRAMS.
A message to anyone involved in our criminal justice system
Addictions to drugs and alcohol have plagued the foundation of this great nation for decades, if not centuries in spite of the endless endeavors of so many people and organizations to end them. The advance of addictions and their negative consequences on society far surpass any advances made by the efforts to overcome the problem.
Since relapse is a major factor in the recidivism rates we see throughout the criminal justice system, we hope you will take the necessary time to look at the information in this message about our program, and consider us to be of assistance in your re-entry programs when it comes to placement in transitional housing and sober living homes.
The Step 13 Addiction Recovery Group Home Program believes that addictions to drugs and alcohol are a major factor in the recidivism rates we see throughout the criminal justice system, and believe there needs to be more emphasis on addiction recovery while an individual is incarcerated, and certainly during their re-entry, to reduce the temptation to use drugs and alcohol, and consequently the recidivism rates.
The Step 13 Addiction Recovery Group Home Program is a Christian addiction recovery program created as the culmination of 30 years of work in the addiction recovery field by its founder. After that much time involved personally with thousands of alcoholics and addicts, it has become obvious that after decades of spending billions of dollars on the war on drugs, and millions of alcoholics and addicts that spend decades in and out of thousands of 12-step programs, that relapse is still as common today as it was 100 years ago, and the negative impact addictions have on our society has only risen exponentially. We believe the Christian element of our program would be of interest to, and a major benefit to anyone being released back into society who claims to be a Christian. While we recognize that many use, and, or take advantage of the title of “Christian” to gain favor throughout the judicial process, and while serving time in the criminal justice system, our program is designed to quickly recognize those who may not be fully vested in sincere, genuine Christianity, and be able to help them discover what they need to do to become better Christians, and consequently better, law-abiding, successful citizens. We believe that our formula for rehabilitation and reintegration will have a major, and positive impact on recidivism rates. We are hopeful and optimistic that as our program grows and expands, together, we can make a significant difference in the lives and futures of many men and women who otherwise might end up back in the cycle of recidivism.

It is well established and documented that successful, long-term, sustainable addiction recovery is more likely to occur when alcoholics and addicts are able to reside in a transitional, sober living home environment.
Our program's main focus is designed to address the issues of addictions, which in the Christian community will hinder our spiritual growth, and needs to be addressed so that we might become the person God wants us to be. The first 40 days of residency, (phase 1), in our group homes is centered on a special 40-day addiction recovery Bible study program that we feel confident will show our residents how to permanently overcome their addictions and become the responsible, law-abiding citizens that God intends for them to be. Involvement in community service to build character will play a major role in phase 1 as well. Phase 2 of our program focuses on rehabilitation and reintegration as it applies to job skills and careers. Our special jobs program will offer our residents who come to us unemployed, a variety of employment opportunities based on their previous job skills and ambitions for their futures. Our businesses are tailored around our resident’s job experience, allowing them to develop their futures and careers. Our program is designed to offer our residents opportunities to advance and grow from within the entire ministry. Our residents may stay with us indefinitely, and leave at any time they feel comfortable doing so. We believe that sharing our blessings and good fortune with others less fortunate, is a primary part of our success in our addiction recovery. And our addiction recovery, will keep us from becoming another statistic in the criminal justice systems recidivism rates.
The Step 13 Addiction Recovery Group Home Program is looking forward to working with the entire criminal justice system, including the Prison Fellowship and The Good News Jail & Prison Ministry, and The Veterans Administration and detox centers to offer second chances to those seeking long-term addiction recovery through our transitional / sober-living / re-entry group home program.
