Change is long overdue in addiction recovery! Decades of the same addiction recovery programs where relapse seems to run rampant, and successful sobriety is uncommon, it is time for a complete re-evaluation of the fundamentals. In the real world, when something is broken and not working, you fix it, or suffer the consequences. The consequences in this case are all too often death! Making the right choice in Step 3 can be the difference between life or death!
The choice you make in step 3 can easily be the difference between life or death! It will absolutely determine your future sobriety and whether you relapse again or not. Tradition shows that step 3 is where either recovery or relapse begins or ends! Tradition also shows that millions fail at this point in their recovery. The reason is quite obvious, but difficult to see through the thick trees at the edge of the forest! The Step 3 Addiction Recovery program will show you how to find relapse free recovery!
OUR MINISTRY RUN BUSINESSES AND JOBS PROGRAM
EVERYONE DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE!
THE STEP 13 FOUNDATION IS A CHRISTIAN MINISTRY DEDICATED T0 HELPING MEN AND WOMAN PUT THEIR LIVES BACK TOGETHER AFTER THEY’VE BEEN DESTROYED BY DRUGS AND ALCOHOL!
By providing housing and jobs in our sober living / transitional housing group homes, we are offering second chances and hope for our residents! Many of our residents come to us virtually unemployable because of poor employment history caused by their addictions and the related consequences. God offers everyone who asks Him, a second chance to be born again, and it is our mission to show them how to do that and become sober and productive members of society.
Most of the men and women who come to us have been unemployed for some time. Many are referred to us by the criminal justice system, the Veterans Administration, detox centers, or homeless shelters. No matter how educated or talented or experienced they may be in a variety of skills and trades, finding tangible employment or housing for a recovering alcoholic or addict or anyone with a felony conviction, can be next to impossible, and is often the cause for relapse and recidivism. Our program solves that issue by creating businesses around the talents that our residents possess. Beginning with labor intensive jobs that require little skill and low start-up costs, as our ministry grows, and our new residents present new job skill history, we will expand and create new businesses that will utilize those skills, giving our residents vast opportunities to grow with us, as they continue to mature in their sobriety! We want to teach our members entrepreneurial skills as a business incubator, that will create a win, win situation for everyone! Income from these business’s will pay our members’ salaries, pay the overhead, and provide the funds for future growth of the program. All management positions, whether in the ministry, or the businesses, will be filled from within.
Here is a list of some of the businesses we see in our future.
